Daichi Kamada admits Rangers have the weapons to hurt his Eintracht Frankfurt.
But the Japanese star is adamant his team are confident of destroying the Europa League dream of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men
Kamada is aware of the threats which will be posed by the Ibrox side in Wednesday’s showpiece Seville Final.
However, the 25-year-old has the belief in his own side and said: “There is confidence in the group at the moment.
“We have not had an easy route to the final. Winning over two legs against teams like Barcelona and West Ham is never easy, so it gives us confidence that we can go all the way and win.
“ Rangers will have similar confidence though, I am sure.
“Leipzig were not an easy club to beat over two games and, if you think back earlier in the competition, the results against Dortmund were impressive. They will also have the confidence they can beat anybody.
“Of course, we have already started to study Rangers. The coach wants us to be as prepared as possible.
“It is clear they are a very good team, it’s clear they can score goals and hurt you.
“We will continue to study them, to prepare, but ultimately we know it is how we play and we know the level we can play at.
“The atmosphere in Seville is going to be a big one. Whenever we travel in Europe, we always have many fans travel and the atmosphere is always a special one.
“Rangers also are known for the fans and in Spain I expect the noise to be incredible.”
Not only will the victors get the trophy, but they also rifle straight into the group stage of next season’s Champions League.
Midfielder Kamada added: “It is normal to dream of the Champions League. For both teams it is only one game away from playing in the biggest club competition in the world.
“It is where all players want to be, but the main focus has to be on the Final.”
