An eight-year-old boy was robbed by three men while playing with his friend. Police investigating are appealing for help from members of the public.
The victim was playing with his friend, aged 10, near Bradley Walk, Clifton, Nottingham, when they were approached by three men on bicycles. One of the cyclists made threats and demanded the victim hand over the bike he was riding.
The offender grabbed the bicycle out of the victim’s hands with force and then left the scene at around 5.10pm on April 16, 2023. Nottinghamshire detectives and neighbourhood police have been supporting the family of both children as they investigate the robbery.

They have also carried out door-to-door inquiries and studied CCTV footage from nearby. Officers have now released an image of three people they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
Detective Constable Anabelle Lee, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This young victim and his friend were understandably upset by this incident and we are determined to track down those responsible. Targeting children to threaten and steal from them is totally unacceptable and if anyone has any information I’d urge them to get in touch with police immediately.
“We particularly want to speak to anyone who recognises any of the individuals in this image. If one of them is you, I’d also urge you to contact police.”
Anyone with any information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 552 of April 16 2023, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
