An eight-year-old whizz kid from Cardiff has become the youngest person ever to correctly recite every single capital city and currency for all 195 countries in the world. Anne Winston of Pontprennau Primary School made history when she confidently achieved the world record in seven minutes and 15 seconds.
The year three pupil achieved the impressive feat in a live-streamed event organised by OMG Book of World Records. After beating the 10-year-old girl who held the previous world record Anne was presented with a certificate live on air.
The schoolgirl first developed an interest in the subject when she was just three year -old. Her dad would her about the world's countries when she travelled to and from nursery and then school. This inspired the youngster to learn more about their capitals and currencies and over four years she taught herself to recite them.
