Eiffel Tower shuts amid allegations female staff were removed during visit of Hindu monks

Eiffel Tower Hindu BAPS France Emmanuel Gregoire Narendra Modi the Eiffel Tower

Employees at France’s Eiffel Tower launched a protest after a Hindu religious delegation visiting the monument over the weekend allegedly requested “limited interactions” with female staff.

The iconic monument was shut on Monday as the workers held a meeting over the incident which took place on Saturday.
