The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, for the development of professional communication skills of trainees of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), among others.
EFLU Vice-Chancellor E. Suresh Kumar and LBSNAA joint director Radhika Rastogi signed and exchanged the MoU papers in Mussoorie. The pact will enable the university to design and offer intensive training programmes that enhance professional communication of IAS trainees along with developing their written communication skills, specifically for leadership.
Mr. Suresh Kumar stated that since administration includes legal, political, and economic matters, apart from a host of other concerns of society, it is important that the IAS officers understand every aspect of those matters. Hence, the officers need to be trained in written and oral communication skills, and EFLU was the best institute to offer training in all these matters concerning language, he added.
