The draw has been made for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after Manchester City won a thriller against Liverpool in the final last-16 game.
Pep Guardiola's side booked their spot in the last eight and will now face Southampton in the next round. Matches will be played the week commencing January 9.
Manchester United, eyeing their first silverware under new manager Erik ten Hag, will face Charlton Athletic at home after being given a favourable draw. whilst Nottingham Forest host Wolves and Newcastle United take on Leicester City.

The tournament marked the return of competitive action for the Premier League clubs still involved after the World Cup break. Wolves, Southampton, Newcastle and Leicester City all advanced on Tuesday evening.
However, Brighton and Hove Albion were dumped out on penalties against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night as Manchester United beat Burnley and Nottingham Forest thrashed Blackburn Rovers.
The final tie of the last-16 saw City race into an early lead via Erling Haaland only for Fabio Carvalho to equalise against the run of play. Riyad Mahrez restored City's lead shortly after the break but Mohamed Salah instantly hit back.
Yet Nathan Ake headed in a pinpoint Kevin de Bruyne cross to give Pep Guardiola's side victory and become the eighth name in the hat for the draw.
