Arsenal technical director Edu has been informed of how much to will cost the Gunners to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The north London outfit have been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old, with Mikel Arteta in the market for a striker this summer.
The England international endured an injury-plagued campaign, though he still managed to find the net five times for a struggling Everton side across 15 Premier League starts. Upon Calvert-Lewin's return from injury in the latter stages of the season, he impressed as he steered the Toffees clear of relegation.
According to the Daily Mail, the striker was initially valued at upwards of £60million. But, following a fractured toe in late August, The Telegraph have outlined that Calvert-Lewin is now expected to warrant a significantly smaller fee, with Arsenal able to save £10million on that figure should Edu engineer a deal.
