Arsenal chief Edu has admitted next season is the campaign that has been earmarked for the Gunners to turn the tide on their recent fortunes and return to the Premier League top four.
If the huge capitulation in the final three games of last term wasn't enough of an incentive for Mikel Arteta to try and bounce back, Edu's latest remarks ensure everyone knows there will be no hiding place should Arsenal fall short once again in their bid for Champions League qualification.
The Gunners were once an ever-present in European club football's elite competition, but have failed to feature every year since the 2016/17 season. The manner in which Arsenal missed out at the last time of asking will undoubtedly still hurt everyone associated with the club.
