Arsenal-linked Youri Tielemans is out of contract in the summer of 2023, leaving Leicester in danger of losing the Belgian midfielder for free.
With little indication the 25-year-old is willing to extend his contract at the King Power, talk of a move has been rife - Brendan Rodgers said last week that a departure “is a possibility”.
The Gunners are certainly keen, though Rodgers says the Foxes have yet to receive a bid for the player who is reportedly valued at around £30million.

In order for Tielemans to play against Leicester on Saturday
In a quirk of fate, Arsenal and Leicester are set to meet at the Emirates on Saturday in a rare 3pm kick-off for the Gunners.
A deal would need to have been signed off by the Premier League by noon on Friday in order for Tielemans to make his debut in the fixture.
But while the signing of Tielemans could be completed by that deadline, it seems unlikely Leicester would agree to a deal that allowed the Belgian to immediately face them.
Before deadline day
The Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday, September 1 at 11pm, the same day as the Spanish, German, Italian and French transfer windows.
That still gives Arsenal and Leicester plenty of time to thrash out a deal.
However, should the two clubs need a little longer it is possible to submit a deal sheet between 9pm and 11 pm on deadline day. The sheet allows a club to confirm that a deal has been reached, allowing clubs additional time to submit the remaining documentation.
Provided the deal sheet is fully complete, Arsenal would then have another two hours in which to submit the full paperwork, potentially extending the deadline to 1am on September 2.
During the next transfer window
Should nothing be concluded in the summer window, Leicester would still have one more opportunity to bring in a fee for Tielemans, with the winter window opening on January 1, 2023 and running through to January 31.
