Planning to show some of the most well-known and respected classics on their stage, Edinburgh Zoo went with the performance selection that will suit anyone, and the relaxed open-air atmosphere is sure to add to the experience.
Here are the three theatre evenings you can visit this summer at Edinburgh Zoo.
Cinderella
When: July 19 - July 30, 7pm
The story everyone knows by heart will come alive once again at the Edinburgh Zoo's open-air theatre night. Magic, friendship and love - watch how one girl's dreams come true and remind yourself of the enchanting after-taste the tales leave.
The venue also encourages event visitors to dress up accordingly - as the favourite fairytale characters.
Pride and Prejudice
When: July 27, 7pm
Step back in time and explore the romance how one of the greatest authors, Jane Austen, saw it in 1813. Beautiful, captivating and genuinely feel-good, this performance is ideal for a summer evening.
As the story unfolds, meet Elizabeth Bennett and her sisters, who - against their interfering mother's various courtships - pursue their own quest for true love.
Romeo and Juliet
When: July 28, 7pm
What is probably the most known and adored love tale of all times, Romeo and Juliet, comes to the capital set against the unpredictable and beautiful at its every appearance setting summer sky.
The story that breaks - and heals - hearts has been remastered countless times, and yet, there is always a place for one more version of the Shakespearean masterpiece.
All the tickets are available via the Edinburgh Zoo website.
