The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to yet another fire raising incident in the Sighthill community of Edinburgh.
The incident took place at around 10pm with one appliance scrambled to the scene in order to put out a bin fire within the Sighthill shopping enclosure.
Donna Squires, who has been a committed local champion to both the Broomhouse and Sighthill community said that the fires in the area were “becoming more and more dangerous”
The bin fire was said to have been set adjacent to the local pub, the Artful Dodger Public House.

Two evening previous a group of youths were also spotted setting fires on the fields at Sighthill Park.
Anti-social behaviour has become a problematic issue within the community over the last few months with youths on motorbikes, fires being set alight and windows being smashed commonplace.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The SFRS attended a bin that was set alight last night - it was a secondary fire.
“One appliance attended the scene.”
Earlier this week, Police Scotland, Donna Squires and councillor Cathy Fullerton held a meeting in order to discuss a plan of action to tackle the rise in antisocial behaviour.
Chief Inspector Murray Tait said: “We are aware of the ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour in the Sighthill Park area which are a cause for concern to many in the local community.
“This type of conduct is completely unacceptable and Operation Pillar was introduced in direct response to these concerns to tackle this issue head-on.
"Dedicated patrols have been introduced in the area and we continue to work closely with our partners.
“We are also making efforts to engage with youths in the community, their schools and their parents, to deter them from getting involved in these crimes.
