Edinburgh youths perform dangerous stunts inside busy underground car park

Edinburgh youths have been filmed swerving dangerously close to parked vehicles in an underground car park in the city, recording footage as part of a new 'stunt'.

Pulling wheelies while trying to get as close to an object as possible without hitting it seems a very obscure stunt to come up with, but youths in the capital seem to have latched onto it, with previously seen footage showing cyclists performing the dangerous act behind buses on Princes Street recently.

This time, they have swapped the capital's busiest street for a quiet underground car park, although could land themselves in serious trouble if one take goes wrong and they end up colliding with strangers' cars.

The footage, uploaded to TikTok, records various youths on bikes pulling the stunt and swerving past the bonnet of cars at the last second, taking it in turns to see see who can seemingly get the closest without landing themselves with a hefty fine.

A separate camera situated on the ground shows just how close the youths come to colliding with the parked vehicles, all while in a busy-looking car park surrounded by pedestrians.

Just a few months ago, various videos surfaced of similar incidents occurring on some of the capital's busiest streets such as Shandwick Place and Princes Street, both next to tram lines, to make the stunts even more reckless.

Other videos had racked up as many as 300,000 views in a short period of time, showcasing just how many people online are influenced by such dangerous acts.
