A woman has called on the police to take action on an irresponsible dog owner after an alsatian broke her arm in a shock attack.
Abbie Scott, 26, was walking from the Post Office at Duart Crescent and was heading towards the Scotmid on Drum Brae South when the incident happened at around 6.30pm on Monday, February 20.
She says that she noticed a man playing with his large dog on the path but thought nothing of it and continued on her route.
