Don't pack away your barbeques just yet, as Edinburgh residents look set to enjoy another week of sun.
Both the Met Office and BBC Weather have said sunny skies will continue as the week progresses, with temperatures hitting 23C by Wednesday. We can expect days of 'sun and gentle breezes' up until Monday 19, where some rainy periods are expected.
According to BBC Weather, Tuesday will start off at around 16C climbing to 21C by the afternoon. This pattern looks set to continue throughout the week, getting warmer towards Friday. By contrast, Sydney on Australia has a high of 19C this week.

In the capital, Saturday, June 17, will see a patch of cloud in the early afternoon, which quickly moves on with sunny skies returning. The Met Office mirrors these predictions, though they suggest Sunday will be far more cloudy than the rest of the week.
While they've also said the rest of the week will see bright skies and high temperatures, they've suggested this will end on Saturday evening with the following day seeing overcast skies and slightly lower temperatures.
This comes after forecasts predicted thunderstorms in the capital. Throughout Monday, predictions suggested showers and heavy clouds with the sun breaking through at around 1pm.
On Sunday, the Met Office said: "Some sunshine and scattered showers. The showers are possibly heavy, and thundery this afternoon, especially over high ground, although many places will miss the heavy showers. Another very warm and humid day."
Met Office Chief Meteorologist Frank Saunders, said: “The heat will last for a few more days at least, and the risk of thunderstorms also spreads more widely across the UK – particularly western and central areas – with heavy downpours again bringing the risk of thunder, hail and gusty winds. As well as higher daytime temperatures, overnight temperatures will also climb with some locations not getting below the mid-teens overnight.”
