Edinburgh's weather is usually a bit of a mixed bag with rain, clouds and sunny spells happening all at once leaving us cold one minute and roasting the next.
And whilst we may not have the best weather, with folk usually pointing out how cold Scotland is, we do get frequent sunny intervals lasting days - and it seems one is just around the corner.
According to forecasters at the BBC, the weather is set to soar where we see highs of 21C this month.

From May 15 until the 21st, temperatures will average 20C with May 15 and 16 seeing highs of near 20C. This will shortly be followed by highs of 20C on the 17th where it will then jump again on the 18th to 21C.
Thanks to the soaring temperatures, this means that the Capital is set to become hotter than parts of Spain including the likes of Portugalete.
We will also match temperatures in Barcelona who are set to see highs of 21C that week.
And it seems that whilst we are set for non-stop sunshine on May 21, Barcelona is set for clouds and despite the double digits, the coverage could make it feel cooler.
So now that we know what the weather is like mid-May, what does it look like this week?
