Although the heavy rain will have subsided by the evening, the strong winds will continue into Wednesday morning, which looks to be a much drier day with some sunshine breaking through.

Thursday will again bring rain showers in the late morning, however dry but cloudy conditions will continue through to Friday, with winds picking up again and expected to hit around 35mph.

The weekend Is also forecast to be a damp one, with lighter rain showers to be dominant, however, winds will have calmed a little, making things a bit more bearable.
