Edinburgh travellers will be forced to pay out extra cash when visiting many different countries from this year.
Travel changes mean that UK travellers will require a European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) visa to enter 30 countries. The visa will be a mandatory requirement for those entering Schengen States, including countries like France, German and Italy.
Applications must be made either online or on the ETIAS app, with the document costing travellers roughly £6.20 (€7), and can take up to four days to be processed.
