Storm Malik has already caused severe travel disruption in Edinburgh, with a number of trains now cancelled.
Over 60 ScotRail services have been scrapped for Saturday after the weather front was confirmed to come with a Met Office Amber warning.
With the 'danger to life' alert lasting until around 3pm on Saturday afternoon (January 29), over 200 services have been cancelled across Scotland.

Those affecting Edinburgh include routes to Dunbar, Glasgow Queen Street, Inverness and a number of others throughout the course of the day.

Speaking at around 8am, ScotRail urged customers to check their journey in advance, writing: "Storm Malik is causing a lot of disruption this morning.

"We have a number of fallen trees reported, as a result of high winds, with speed restrictions in place on many routes too."
Buses have been put in place at Falkirk Grahamston, Perth, Stirling, Queen Street, Edinburgh and a minibus shuttle is available at Falkirk High - Falkirk Grahamston.
The Queensferry Crossing has also been closed to high sided vehicles due to the strong gusts of wind, which are expected to reach over 60mph.
