The UK Government have announced a huge cut-price train ticket sale in the first-of-its-kind 'Great British Rail Sale'.
Tickets for some of the busiest routes in the UK, including Edinburgh, will be slashed and in most cases, be on sale for half price, with more than one million discounted tickets being available to the public.
The idea is said to help connects friends and families, boost UK tourism and encourage green travel across the country, with rail travel being the most economical mode of transport.

A single ticket from London to Edinburgh, which would usually cost £44, will be available for just £22, with journey's to York, Leeds, Cardiff and Liverpool all included in the list.
Dozens of other destinations from Edinburgh are also included in the sale, such as Berwick Upon-Tweed, Dunbar, Dundee, Durham and many more.
Tickets go on sale today, April 19, and can be purchased from participating retailers with the up to half-price rate applying to a huge range of off-peak tickets spreading the length of the country. The discounted tickets will be available on journeys from 25 April to 27 May.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said: "For the first time ever, operators across the rail industry are coming together to help passengers facing rising costs of living by offering up to 50% off more than a million tickets on journeys across Britain.
"There’s no better time to visit friends, family or just explore our great country, so book your tickets today."
