An Edinburgh tourist has uploaded a comedic video online while he gets to grips with some of Scotland's most popular dishes and snacks.
With countries like Italy being associated with dishes such as pizza and pasta, Scotland doesn't have much in the way of a healthy, fresh delicacy. Apart from haggis, neeps, and tatties, there isn't much that won't "give you a heart attack" as the tourist soon learns.
The user, Korean Billy, uploaded the video to TikTok while present at a whisky-tasting experience and asks his guide for some of his favourite snacks to try while in the capital. Among those are some of the food and drink options that have been widely associated with Scotland and Edinburgh in the past.

Billy starts off by asking his guide "what food should people visiting Edinburgh try while they are here?" The man replies by suggesting a deep-fried pizza - a chip shop classic.
Keeping up with the theme of 'deep fried', he adds: "And a deep fried mars bar. Absolutely, it's so Scottish. We just love to deep fry everything but it's honestly incredible. Go to a chippy in Edinburgh and ask for chippy sauce - it's pretty much only a local or south east thing in Scotland as if you go Glasgow and ask for it then they'll look at you like you're crazy.
"It's basically brown sauce with more vinegar in it - it's brilliant." After hearing the first three suggestions, Billy replies: "I'm definitely going to gain some weight after visiting Edinburgh but it sounds pretty tasty.
"Anything else which I don't really get a heart attack from eating?"
His guide hit back with: "You can't really come to Edinburgh or Scotland without trying haggis, neeps, and tatties. It's an absolute staple and we even have a whole holiday where we eat that meal religiously for Burn's Day."
