The funeral service for Her Majesty The Queen will be broadcast live on a big screen in Holyrood Park in front of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Many in Edinburgh are expected to attend the event in the city centre, as the historic event is broadcast from around 8am to 5pm on September 19. Set up opposite the Palace of Holyroodhouse, officials said the location had been chosen due to the Queen's coffin having been taken there overnight on Sunday, before being moved to St Giles' Cathedral and then taken back to London.
The council have confirmed the huge screen will be live-streaming all day, with officials organising the gathering as an "opportunity to come together and pay our final respects."
