The festival is designed to cater towards the popular dog breed and offer support and guidance to those who already have a dachshund or are thinking of getting one.
While the event is catered towards the sausage dog breed, other breeds are also welcome to the event as a way of socialising.
There will be stalls with food and drink, dog accessories and experts on hand to offer dachshund related advice and tips to help owners care better for their dogs.
Some specific stalls that can offer advice on the breed include a veterinary physiotherapist, behavioural and training specialists and botanical veterinary care experts to offer health and wellbeing advice to owners.
Doggy parkour is being advertised for furry friends to try and plenty of dachshund mingling for socialisation.
Tickets are £5 for adults while dogs and children can enter for free. Tickets can be found here.
A donation of profits from ticket sales will be made to 'Foreverhounds' rescue. The charity assists in the care and rehoming process of unwanted dogs.
