A mega car showroom is set to open on the outskirts of the capital this month with eight electric charging points on site.
Volvo cars have said that their new showroom will open to motorists on Loanhead Drive in Newbridge in February.
The electric charging points will be in place for Volvo’s “growing range of electric vehicles.”

Volvo will join fellow car garages Merdes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Mazda, Volkswagen and Land Rover amongst many others in the area that is situated not far from Edinburgh airport.
It is not known if the new garage will impact the current unit that is located on Glasgow Road in the capital, according to MotorTrader.
Bryan Muir, head of business at Volvo Cars Edinburgh, said: “We are delighted to be opening a new chapter in Volvo Cars Edinburgh’s journey, with a new state of the art showroom.
“With petrol and diesel cars slowly becoming a thing from the past, we’ve ensured our new sustainable facility is future-ready, with eight electric vehicle charging points and a range of plug-in hybrid models to choose from – plus the pure electric XC40 and brand-new C40 – alongside a selection of petrol and diesel cars.
“We look forward to welcoming both new and existing customers to celebrate our new Volvo Cars Edinburgh showroom for all their Volvo requirements and, crucially, a personalised experience with our expert team, as we open the doors to our new home later this month.”
