An award-winning dessert restaurant have picked Edinburgh as their first Scottish destination, with a new store opening within the capital in two weeks time.
Heavenly Desserts have recently seen a rapid growth throughout the UK and will open their 36th store at Fountain Park, Dundee Street on Monday 14 February.
Having opened their first store back in 2008, their extensive menu consisting of artisan desserts "made with love", including vegan and gluten free options will be available to those within Edinburgh who have a sweet tooth.

The business are also opening 50 stores in the UK by the end of 2022 and are even planning an extended global expansion, with stores in Canada, Pakistan, Denmark and the US planned as the company reach out for the number one dessert chain in the world.
The restaurant offers unique takes on some dessert classics such as waffles, milkshakes and cookie dough, as well as offering their own creations such as warm apple doughnuts with spiced custard and pistachio milk cake.
In 2021, they were crowned Best Dessert Restaurant by Deliveroo. Heavenly Desserts Marketing Executive Paige Hilliard said: "Despite the challenges the hospitality industry has faced over the last year, we're so happy with the company's growth, how we've adapted and our continuous development as a brand.

On opening in Edinburgh Paige added: "We're very excited to make our debut in Scotland and there’s no better place to start than the capital. We really can't wait to see the city's reaction to what we have to offer and hope this will be the first of many stores in Scotland.
