An Edinburgh thug who accused his girlfriend of cheating on him left her with carpet burns after dragging her around by the hair.
Michael Willis carried out the vicious attack after demanding to look at the woman's social media account on her phone. The 33-year-old roofer slapped his partner's face during the horrifying incident at his home in the capital.
Willis seized the woman again by the hair and "swung" her out of the flat door before police arrived. He appeared from custody at the city's sheriff court on Wednesday (March 22) and admitted assaulting his partner.
