Edinburgh contestant Mal Nicol left the Love Island villa on Tuesday night in a shock dumping.
Along with Mehdi Edno, was ditched after results from Monday nights voting were announced. Other Islanders had been tasked with voting for their favourite boys and girls, and the results made for brutal viewing.
As they gathered round the fire pit, some began receiving texts confirming who would be leaving. It was first announced Mal would be on her way out, before Mehdi was told the same.

Speaking in her exit interview, Mal touched on her romance with Sammy: "That connection with Sammy was just so innocent and pure, it was lovely. Short, obviously.
"From the moment I first met him to the last night, we had a very mature conversation. He's grown so much. The most amazing thing to see in a person is growth. I could tell by the way he was acting around me.
"From what I’d seen before, he’s so different. I think before he didn’t really think before he spoke."
Mal also backed fellow Scot Ella to take home the prize at the end of the season, saying: "Ella and Tyrique - they’re fire and fire, but it works. I love them and they have potential to win."
Mehdi added: "It’s always a sad feeling when you have to leave somewhere, but that was such a great experience, I’m so thankful for it."
He added: "I’ve met incredible people, and made friends for life. I feel like I could’ve found love with Whitney, so it’s to be continued on that one."
Speaking about who he hopes will win, Mehdi said: "Ella and Tyrique, they have been a strong couple since day one - they always make the effort with each other."
He continued: "They are both so genuine and like each other. From inside the Villa it was so beautiful to see and I can’t wait to watch them blossom even more."
