Claire Baxter is mum to two girls, one five and the other 12, but she has said that the current living costs crisis has her family financially and emotionally struggling.

The 30-year-old works as a well being and support worker for Low Income Families Together (LIFT) in Muirhouse, an organisation supporting individuals and families that find themselves in temporary accommodation, are homeless, or are struggling to put food in the fridge amongst a host of other issues.
