Police in Edinburgh are investigating reports of an alleged assault of a 12-year-old schoolboy in Morningside.
It comes after days of reported antisocial behaviour from youths in the area and throughout the city during the Easter holidays.
The reported incident took place around 4pm on Tuesday March 4.

Officers have confirmed the investigation is still in the early stages.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On the afternoon of Tuesday, 4 April 2023, police received a report of the alleged assault of a 12-year-old boy in the Morningside area of Edinburgh."

They added: "Enquiries into the incident are at an early stage.”
