Edinburgh Santa Express experience will not be going ahead this year confirm Scotrail

ScotRail Edinburgh Railway Children Scotland

Edinburgh's popular Christmas Santa Express experience will not be going ahead this year, organisers have revealed.

Last year, ScotRail teamed up with charity Railway Children to deliver an action-packed journey around Scotland onboard a 'Polar Express' train with entertainment and snacks.

In 2021, tickets for the event were sold out almost instantly and proved a massive hit with families and kids within Edinburgh and the Lothians, with the train departing from Waverley Station.
