A recent video posted online tells the tale of an Edinburgh ghost who was spotted 'walking right through people'.
Uploaded by Scotland's History on YouTube, the video tells the story of an 'apparition' who was seen in the early 20th century. The ghost is said to have worn a dark blue coat, a black skirt, and a small hat with two feathers.
A witness is said to have spotted her extremely pale complexion and yellow hair. What might have been more shocking, is the witness spotting her 'face of the dead'.

The video tells of an elderly gentleman, who 'walked right through her'. Supposedly, the ghostly apparition nor the man appeared to notice each other.
The voiceover tells viewers: "He couldn't have been more than six foot behind her when she suddenly vanished.
"A few days later the man found himself in George Street again. This time, the weather was foul.
"He was drenched. Then, he spotted the woman.
"She was wearing the same clothes as before, but completely dry. Wanting a closer look at her, he darted past and looked at her face.
"When he saw in horror her dead white face, he went reeling across the pavement in shock and fear."
Supposedly, horses carrying carts would shy away from the woman. People would see her suddenly disappear often, noting her 'weathered' looks.
It transpired that around 18 years before her appearance, a woman named Mrs Bosworth has owned a chemist shop on George Street. The man who saw her tracked down this woman, and asked her about the 'ghost'.

Mrs Bosworth said she'd thought the woman would 'surely be at rest now'. The apparition, supposedly named Jane, was a dressmaker who had a business on the street.
She sold her business to Mrs Bosworth, though regretted her decision. 'Jane' is said to have been 'deranged' and was suffering from what we now know as dementia.
Doctors had told her to give up her business, however she struggled with this. Jane passed away, and supposedly haunted her former business for many years.
So the next time you're walking down George Street, keep an eye out for Jane - who keeps an eye on what's happening around her shop.
