Diners in East Lothian will be treated to a one-of-a-kind afternoon tea - hosted by a British Bake Off Winner.
Peter Sawkins, the youngest-ever winner of the hit TV show, will join forces with the team at the famous Bonnie Badger in Gullane later this month for the 'exclusive' food and drink experience.

Together with Head Pastry Chef Silvia Santos, Peter will be 'carefully crafting a range of sweet and savoury bakes', inspired by his debut book 'Peter Bakes'.
Announcing the news this afternoon, event organisers say: "With a shared passion for pastry, patisserie, showstoppers and slices, the collaboration will present a limited-edition afternoon tea menu with a Scottish and seasonal twist to tempt tastebuds.
"While indulging in a showstopping afternoon tea, baking fans will get the chance to meet the local Edinburgh baker, hear more about his debut baking book, favourite flavours, trademark tricks and learn what’s next for the rising star. Served in the restaurant with rooms’ warm and inviting Garden Room, guests will join Peter in a relaxed afternoon tea to celebrate his baking success.
"The menu will include an extensive choice of loose-leaf teas, infusions, or coffees alongside a selection of seasonal sandwiches, fresh scones with clotted cream and jam, and a collection of sweet surprises inspired by Sawkins’ book and prepared with passion by Peter and The Bonnie Badger team."
The limited-edition afternoon tea, or champagne afternoon tea, will take place on Friday March 25, with reservations available between 12pm and 5pm.
Guests can also include a copy of ‘Peter Bakes’ in their reservation to receive a personalised signed copy of Peter’s book on the day, with prices as follows:
- Classic Afternoon Tea - £29 per person
- Champagne Afternoon Tea served with a glass of Philipponnat Royale Reserve - £40 per person
- Afternoon Tea including signed book, ‘Peter Bakes’ by Peter Sawkins - £49 per person
