Edinburgh's popular FLY Open Air music festival is set to return to Princes Street Gardens this year.
The dance and techno festival will return to its 'beloved' Edinburgh Castle backdrop for the tenth instalment, having previously occupied the site at Hopetoun House, near South Queensferry.
In a short announcement on Facebook, the FLY team said: "FLY OPEN AIR PRINCES STREET SEPTEMBER 2022. We are back at our beloved Princes Street Gardens for the 10th instalments of FLY Open Air, 16-18 September."

Revellers can sign up now for early access to tickets, with the event expected to sell out.
In August 2021, local residents blasted the decision to hold the three-day electronic festival at the popular tourist site, with noise and litter among issues raised.
Organisers were previously forced to cancel the ‘Return of the Slam Tent’ gig at Hopetoun House later last year due to uncertainty over Scotland’s easing of coronavirus restrictions.
Instead, it is set to go full steam ahead at the famous Ross Band Stand, with one of the finest backdrops the city has to offer.
Organisers are expected to announce the lineup for this year's event in due course, and it is guaranteed to deliver some of the finest dance and techno DJ's in the country.
