Edinburgh's Caledonian Hotel acquired for £85 million

The Caledonian Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh has been acquired in by property investment manager Henderson Park and hotel operator Klarent Hospitality.

Previous owner Twenty14 Holdings hinted at selling the 120-year-old hotel earlier this year and a deal has now been done for a reported £85m.

The 241-room property at the west end of Princes Street now becomes the third Edinburgh hotel in the Hilton portfolio owned by Henderson Park and Klarent.
