A top Edinburgh-based burger chain has divided fans with the launch of its latest creation - a burger smothered in Lotus Biscoff spread.
The sweet-sounding treat, a bacon cheeseburger with Lotus Biscoff spread and sauce, crushed biscuits and spicy honey mayo is on sale now at Bread Meats Bread.
The popular burger brand, which has three restaurants across the city, described it as "one of the filthiest treats of all", in a recent social media post.
Priced at £12, it's on sale now at its sites on North Bridge, Lothian Road and Fort Kinnaird, the burger has seen fans divided.

Posting on Instagram with a photo of the delicious-looking burger, they wrote: "Our Biscoff Honey Bacon Burger is one of the filthiest treats of all.
"We top a bacon cheeseburger with Lotus Biscoff spread and sauce, then finish it off with crushed biscuits, crispy fried onions and spicy honey mayo."
Burger fans flocked to share their opinion on the culinary creation, with many posting that they couldn't wait to try it, with one posting: "I'm a biscoff lover so this intrigues me.....to be honest you can never go wrong with Biscoff."
While others were turned off by the idea: "What? Caramel and sweet biscuit on burger? No thanks."
