A cost of living map has unveiled the stark reality Edinburgh residents are facing as the price of energy, food and housing rises.
The interactive map created by campaign group 38 Degrees highlights residents' personal struggles ahead of Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt's Autumn statement on November 17.
From pensioners to parents and those who are self employed, every pin on the map is a real person with Edinburgh residents admitting how much they are struggling. They reveal that with high energy and food costs, meals have to be skipped, while others are concerned about their health as the winter creeps in.
