An Edinburgh resident has found a thrifty way to earn a bit of pocket money - and she took herself and her husband to Spain with it.
Everyone's looking for a bit of extra cash these days and Ruth Lewis, 41, from Bonnington has been renting out her driveway since 2018. Speaking exclusively to Edinburgh Live, the nutritional and massage therapist explained how on one New Year's Day, she was thinking about how to make some more cash and it came to her that she could utilise her empty driveway.
She said that neither of her or her husband, Ross, uses it and after seeing other people use the website, Your Parking Space, the couple took the plunge and put it on the website.
