Edinburgh rail travellers have been caught up in 'chaos' at London's King's Cross station on Wednesday after the heatwave caused several issues on the lines between Scotland and England.
Images and footage from King's Cross show hundreds of passengers queuing to board any train they can to get home, with reports of people being stuck for several days.
Although LNER have confirmed that services to the capital are running on Wednesday, July 20, delays are expected and staff are doing their best to disperse the crowds onto trains.

Earlier in the day, London North Eastern Railway tweeted: "Today please DO NOT TRAVEL to or from London King's Cross.
DO NOT COME TO STATION. Due to urgent repairs to the railway, trains are not running between #KingsCross and #Peterborough."
Confused passengers took to Twitter to ask LNER if trains to Edinburgh were still running, with the rail provider apologising for the confusion and confirming that planned routes to the capital are still due to leave King's Cross.
One passenger that filmed the dramatic scenes said the station in London was 'Bedlam' and that hundreds of people are desperate to get back home, including Edinburgh passengers.
As of 3pm on Wednesday, LNER amended their earlier post and tweeted a new update, saying: Our line has now reopened. Services are beginning to operate, however due to disruption there will be a reduced service to and from London's King's Cross today. We recommend travellers to check before they travel.
Lumo has cancelled all its services between the Edinburgh and London on Wednesday and Avanti West Coast have also warned customers hoping to travel between London and Edinburgh that services will be disrupted.
All passengers hoping to travel today are being urged to check live updates here.
LNER have been approached for comment.
