The Scottish Government have informed the public that the queue in Edinburgh to see the Queen's coffin has now closed.
Speaking on Tuesday afternoon (September 13), officials stated that no one else will be permitted to join the line in order to see everyone in it have the chance to visit Her Majesty's coffin.
Arriving at St Giles' Cathedral on Monday afternoon, the coffin has been lying at rest for nearly 24 hours, with an estimated 26,000 people lining up to view it.

Speaking shortly after 12.16pm, the Scottish Government said: "The queue has now closed. Please do not attempt to join the queue. Over 26,000 people have already had a chance to pay their last respects.
"We are doing everything we can to ensure that those currently in the queue can do so before 3pm, when the Lying at Rest will end."

King Charles has already left Edinburgh alongside the Queen Consort, with the Royal jet taking the couple to Northern Ireland on Tuesday morning, where they will continue their tour of the four nations.
The coffin of Queen Elizabeth II will be taken from St Giles' shortly after 3pm on Tuesday, with the casket then being driven out to Edinburgh Airport.
Accompanied by the Princess Royal, the body of the Queen will be flown on the RAF Hercules to London, where a period of mourning will continue.
