An Edinburgh man has shared the heart-stopping moment he was dangling from the Queensferry Crossing while working on the iconic bridge.
Known to stand at over 200 metres high, rope technician Daryl Michael showed his line of work is not for the faint-hearted as he completed a shift above the landmark. Posting the clip to TikTok on Sunday, the camera showed the worker securely fastened in with harnesses as he was suspended at one of the towers.
Panning around on himself, Daryl was brave enough to risk getting his phone out to film the incredible yet terrifying view from right up in the rafters.

Looking over both Edinburgh and Fife, traffic could also be seen moving on the bridge below, with the tiny specs making it even more clear just how high up he was working.
The clip quickly gained over 32,000 views and 1,000 likes and many shared their opinions on the job, with most commending Daryl on his ability to work at such a height.
One user responded: "Not a chance. My stomach is in knots watching this."
Another commented: "This gives me the fear just watching it, great post and amazing it takes some skills to do this job."
A third added: "The view looks amazing although rather you up there than me, my hands are sweating just watching this."
