Edinburgh property: Inside the cheapest 3 bed flats to rent in each neighbourhood

Households across the country looking for a new home are struggling to find property they can afford.

With prices being high in cities around Scotland — and Edinburgh in particular — many people are unable to buy.

Renting can be very expensive too, especially if you're keen to live somewhere near the city centre. However, there are good deals to be found everywhere if you're willing to do a bit of digging.

To help you out, we took to Rightmove to find the cheapest family homes to rent in each Edinburgh neighbourhood. While some areas are known for being cheaper and more expensive than others, such as Corstorphine and the West End respectively, this is not always the case.

Here is a roundup of the cheapest three-bedroom flats to rent in each part of Edinburgh.

New Town

St Bernard Crescent, Stockbridge

St Bernard Crescent (Rightmove)

Price: £1,550 per month

Starting out with one of the priciest properties on this list, this partly furnished Stockbridge flat is undeniably stunning. Its convenient locations allows you to "stroll to everything", and it features gorgeous wood-effect flooring. Another advantage is that it's already partly furnished, which will save you money on having to buy furniture such as beds and sofas. That £1,550-a-month cost may just be too much for many, though.

What the listing says: "Sophisticated and spacious, this contemporary 3 bed apartment is perfectly positioned for an effortless lifestyle. If it's convenience you're after, this apartment is hard to beat."

Considering it's over two floors, and you get a garage as well, you might decide it's worth the price tag.
