Three prison officers in Edinburgh have reportedly been sacked for attacking an inmate.
The incident is understood to have occurred at HMP Edinburgh, Saughton, after the trio battered the 24-year-old prison in his cell in early September 22.
The Record reports how the three officers are physical training instructors at the prison and were axed from their roles last week. The officers are responsible for delivering physical education programmes and activities for lags.
