Edinburgh Porsche driver slapped with fine after being caught using mobile phone

An Edinburgh Porsche driver was pulled over and issued a fine after police caught them using their mobile phone behind the wheel.

The flashy motor was hauled over on Seafield Road recently and officers say it was the second vehicle within just 20 minutes where they caught the driver on their phone.

Posting on Twitter, the Scottish road policing unit account said that the Edinburgh division had a busy and successful patrol with the two drivers being issued with "endorsable tickets."

They said: "EdinburghRP are always on the lookout. This is one of two drivers stopped in the space of 20 minutes in the Seafield Road area using their mobile phones whilst driving.

"This is one of the #Fatal5. Both issued with endorsable tickets."
