An eyewitness said: "There’s one police van here and two cops inside. There was another van but it took off when I got here"
The club, formally known as Loch Inn, has run as a social club for Edinburgh City FC members since 2018.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "The tape is in place as police are carrying out enquiries in relation to another matter and for operational reasons we are unable to provide any further details.
"There is no risk to any members of the public."
Edinburgh City Football Club Social Club has been approached for comment.
