Pictures emerged showing police in attendance at the reported brawl.

The pictures show multiple police cars and vans as well as officers on motorcycles. At least four officers were seen interviewing groups of locals outside a group of flats.

One Edinburgh local, who saw the chaos, told Edinburgh Live: "There were 10 or more police vehicles in attendance and an ambulance just left with blue lights and sirens.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received reports of a disturbance involving a group of youths within Sighthill Park in Edinburgh around 4.30pm on Wednesday, 15 June, 2022.

“Officers attended and traced one male youth who had sustained minor injuries.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers will continue to carry out patrols in the area.”

This comes as another incident has been reported in the North West of the city.

This is a developing story, we will update it with more information as it becomes available.
