Edinburgh police step up search for missing woman last seen six days ago

Police in Edinburgh are stepping up their search for a missing woman last seen nearly one week ago.

Tracy Milne, 46, disappeared from the capital's Canonmills area on Friday, April 21, and was reported missing to the police three days later. Officers have issued a further appeal to help trace Tracy's whereabouts.

They say Tracy's family are "understandably worried" and have become "increasingly concerned" for her wellbeing.

Tracy is white, around 5 feet 5 inches in height with a slim build and greying hair with a pink tint. It’s not known what Tracy was wearing when last seen.

Police have been checking CCTV footage around the city as well as speaking with Tracy's family and friends to obtain as much additional information about her disappearance as possible.

Inspector Stephanie Garnett said: "Tracy’s family is understandably worried about her and we have become increasingly concerned for her wellbeing. Everyone just wants to know Tracy is safe and well.

"I am asking anyone, who may have seen Tracy, or who has any information about her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 969 of April 24, 2023.
