Edinburgh police seize stolen Audi with false plates during routine patrol

Police Scotland have succesfully found a stolen car, after it was reported missing last month.

The blue Audi was found in Stenhouse, displaying false registration plates. It was seized by police and enquires are ongoing. The vehicle was first reported missing on September 22

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Road Police officers were on patrol and observed the vehicle parked up and unattended on Stenhouse Crescent around 1pm today, displaying false plates.

"The vehicle was found to be reported stolen to us on the 22nd of September from the Edinburgh area so it was seized and enquiries are ongoing."
