Edinburgh police are appealing to the public to help them to trace the whereabouts of a missing 12-year-old boy.
Officers say that Jamie McEwan was last seen wearing a Nike tracksuit, white Adidas trainers and that he is around five foot five with short fair blonde hair and a slim build.
Jamie is from the Howden Hall area of Edinburgh but it is understood that he has links with the Drylaw area and it is believed he may have travelled to the community in the north of the capital.

Police say that there is growing concern for the 12-year-old and that he has been 'missing for some time.'
In a statement on Facebook, the Police Scotland Edinburgh said: "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a Child reported missing in Edinburgh.
"There are growing concerns for the 12-year-old, who lives in the Howden Hall area of Edinburgh.
"Jamie is described as, 5 ft 5 inches tall, slim build, short fair blonde hair, Navy tracksuit, white Adidas trainers and trainers
"Jamie has been missing for some time, and concerns are growing for his welfare.
"Anyone who may have seen Jamie or who has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3323 of 11/05/20223."
An update to this missing person has been shared, as Edinburgh police confirm that Jamie McEwan has been found safe and well.
On Twitter, Police Scotland Edinburgh wrote: "Thank you for sharing our appeal regarding a 12-year-old boy missing from Howden Hall, Edinburgh. Jamie has now been traced. Thank you again."
