Edinburgh police appeal for help to find missing man thought to be in the capital

A man missing from Essex who is wearing red and black Nike trainers and ash coloured chinos could be in Edinburgh police believe. The 55-year-old was reported missing from the Grays area of the county on September 21.

David Mark Hill is in his mid 50s and is 5ft 7ins tall. He has dark grey hair and stubble. He is believed to be wearing chinos and Nike sneakers.

The English police force have now joined forces with local Edinburgh cops to find the man who could be in Edinburgh. Officers down south in Essex said: "We’re appealing for the public’s help to find David Mark Hill, who is missing from his home in Grays.

"We are carrying out a number of enquiries in order to locate David and we now believe he could be in Edinburgh. We are now working alongside Police Scotland.

David, 55, is 5ft 7ins tall with dark hair and a beard. We believe he may be wearing ash-coloured chinos, a black jacket, a backpack and red and black Nike Air trainers. If you see David or know where he is please call 101 immediately.
