Edinburgh petrol station cordoned off as police lock down local garage

Petrol Edinburgh Police Shell Leith

An Edinburgh petrol station has been locked down by police after officers raced to the scene on Saturday morning (October 1.)

The Shell garage on Seafield Road in Leith has been entirely cordoned off by the emergency services, with the petrol station currently closed to the public.

Images from the scene showed a number of officers and police vehicles in attendance, with no entry allowed into the shop or petrol pumps.
