Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity have shared the harrowing story of a nine-year-old boy who was suddenly diagnosed with cancer.
Leo, nine, was taken to hospital when his parents noticed that his eyes were looking strange. They had initially taken their son to the GP but were told to take him immediately to A&E.
At that moment they had never imagined that the news they would receive would be as catastrophic as it was. Shortly after arriving they were informed that their son was suffering from bleeding on his brain.
